The School of Rhenus is one of the most prestigious arcane art schools in all of Valenaar. Created by Tillious Vahren. The School of Rhenus was created as a counter to the growing magic concerns posed by Tillious’ father, Pernerios Vahren. Its primary concern is the protection and knowledge of magic.
It is a school first and foremost, intended to teach the next generation of magic users the safe and proper way to use magic and prevent the destructive effects magic can and has caused for the continent.
The School of Rhenus is the only autonomous faction within the Vahrenian Government. No emperor, marshal or other government official has any authority over the School of Rhenus, instead the School of Rhenus and its subsidiaries are run by the Eight Grandmasters. These Grandmasters are the most powerful, most knowledgeable, and most respect magical users on Valenaar. Their reputation is known far and wide by all arcane enthusiasts.
These Grandmasters are:
Gen - Grandmaster of Abjuration
Skal - Grandmaster of Necromancy
Dhelie - Grandmaster of Illusion
Rhask - Grandmaster of Divination
Kramuliar - Grandmaster of Transmutation
Leodias - Grandmaster of Conjuration
Qrodros - Grandmaster of Enchantment
Cyran - Grandmaster of Evocation
The structure of the School of Rhenus goes as followed:

There are Seven subsidiaries under the School of Rhenus, those being: Edhil, Traes, Aetheica, Acha, Acria, Iaskesh, and Duskor. These smaller schools are run by Archmagisters appointed by the Grandmasters.
The most important duty of the school is to enforce The Mystic Arts Usage and Regulation Act . Which they use their own form of military known as The Inquisition.
