The Great City of Acha. Known as the City of the Beasts is the largest city in the Daesnyae Reaches and home to nearly every beastkin on Valenaar.
Located along the Wareterre River the city is deep within the Pondosa woods and Ascua Hills the city built itself into one of the most windy, but sprawling urban landscapes Valenaar has to offer.
Acha has a rich history that dates back long before Vahrenian rule and even longer than most Elven histories. Acha was first landed by the Leonin peoples and to this day remain the dominate beastkin race in the city. Despite this nearly all other beast races exist within the city as they flocked to the aspiring city over hundreds of years. Acha is the only city to beat Rhenus in population numbers due to just the various races within the city.
Acha maintains much of its autonomy after Umbra Catonia conquered the city in 1054; giving the King of Acha a spot on the Rhenusian Council. King Premir Winddream, decendent of King Merrick Winddream, rules the Kingdom of Acha after his fathers death and is considered a staunch ally to Rhenus despite the history.
Acha is home to the second largest Rhenusian School of Magic, the School of Acha. Here is where the majority of Inquisitor training is held. Giving the school a more military position over teaching, unlike Rhenus.
Acha spans in nearly every direction along and away the Wareterre and as such, most of the city does not have walls. Instead the city fortifications are largely centered around the Keep while the rest of the city uses the natural landscape as great defensive funnels, making it one of the hardest cities to conquer, but also one of the easiest to traverse.
Acha uses a variety of different transport methods to each of its 43 districts. From skylines, boats, cart and even short form portals. Getting around the city is a lot more simple than one would expect.
One of Achas greatest titles within the empire is to be the highest standard of living in the whole empire. Due to the various races excelling at specific jobs and duties, much of the workforce is seperated into jobs that these races are good at.
Acha continues to be a beacon on the continent despite falling to the Vahren Empire and in spite of the high tribute the city is forced to hand over, continues to be one of the richest cities on the continent.
