In the crevasse of the northern Nokorich mountain range sits a small, but important mining city of Driagate. Here you will find the entrances to one of the richest and largest mines on Valenaar. Driagate is considered to be more than just the one city. Various small towns and villages are lumped in with the central city. These towns are considered similarly to districts of other cities.
Driagate is home to some of the most experienced smiths in the eastern half of Valenaar and where the largest smithy guild, The Hammer of Renradak is headquartered.
The people are largely mixed by the time the Vahren Empire had arrived. From Daekin, Cymex, Human, Beastkin, Dwarves, Elves, and everything else calling this city their home if their aspiration was to work with the finest metals in Valenaar.
Driagate is also the main supply for weapons, armor, and other metal fabrications for the Empire. meaning the city was given a port to directly trade with and move its goods onto ships. The port sits nearly a three days travel by foot and is known as DriaRhenari. The port has become a port town since its founding but still remains a trading hub for the city of Driagate.
