The Land of the Elves
Nullinara is a large region located in the South of Valenaar. Starting from the plains under Isunesh, the shifting sands of Illaria and surrounded by the Unending Ocean.
Nullinara is where all elves have originated. Wood, HIgh, Drow and Aethecian all come from this expansive region. Its rich and long history serves as a base for most known history on Valenaar.
Each Elven society has their own distinct way of life and culture. Though in current history, the subraces have intermingled, their traditions remain.
The High Elves
Also known as the Pale Elves are a race of Elves that dominate the region of Nullinara. Nearly every landed city is occupied with the High Elves and much of elven culture comes from their ways. However, most elven buildings are considered ancient by Vahrenian standards and only Asyha Edhil maintains the old architecture.
The Wood Elves
The Woodlen Elves are scattered around the regions forests and their major culture hubs are Astrius and Shulalon. While not dominant, wood elves still find their place among elven society. The Wood Elves are some of the most devout Azsoi followers and consider her as the World Tree. Each Tree is apart of her and they nurture that deep within their traditions.
The Drow Elves
Also known as the Shadow Elves. These Elves are best known for their subterranean lifestyle. Their largest city is the city of Ifvelon. A city located deep within the underdark. A large subterranean region that covers nearly the entire southeastern quadrant of Nullinara. Drow Elves were once rarely seen on the surface, but have since been found all around Valenaar due to unknown reasons.
The Aethecian Elves
The Aethecian Elves are a race solely found on the land mass of Aetheica that has since broken off from Nullinara nearly seven thousand years ago due to the Arcanoclast, Ayduin Magharice, who forced his homelands to seperate from Nullinara during the two hundred year war. Aetheican Elves have a natural talent to magic that other elves do not share. However due to their perfectionist society, they nearly all resemble one another as long, slim, grey skinned elves. No matter Male, Female, or in between the only differences between Aetheicans are the unique masks they create for themselves. These masks are vital to their culture and every Aetheican has their own. Aetheican Elves are some of the smallest population elves in all of Valenaar.
