Backstory
Born and Raised in Driagate, Flack was the youngest of a stereotypically large Harengon family. Her family used to be farmers before she was born but moved to Driagate when the work ran out and became miners to make ends meet. Flack didn’t much like the Idea of joining her brothers and sisters in mine work, she thought it was beneath her and that she’d become a rich mercenary like the ones that told grand stories in taverns, Flack however, was soon humbled. Running away from home proved foolish, she was young, naive and foolish, a deadly combination that put her through far too many deadly encounters. It was pure luck she survived, but her company? Not so lucky. A raid on an “abandoned” dragons nest soon left naught but gore and ashes, not that she stayed long enough to see it all. Shaken, scarred, and racked with guilt, a now adult Flack threw away her pride, and rejoined her family, as a miner. Despite the ridicule and harsh treatment she initially received from her siblings, Flack found she had a knack for mining, both a keen eye for ore, and a good sense for gauging cave-ins, she quickly rose ranks. It was this rapid rise that lead her to go from miner to craftswoman, her keen eye for detail came in handy in the forges. In these forges she came to know Renradak, god of the forge, whose humble beginnings inspired her to leave her home once again! This time she was prepared, experienced, and full of determination to make a work so grand that the great god Renradak would be proud!
