A Brief Summary

The God of Souls, The God of the Dead, The God of Afterlife. These are only a few names given to Dureur.

Being of the original 4 Gods, Dureur is considered to be one of the, if not the most powerful of all the gods. Dureur is the creator of the Material Plane and of his own, the Realm of Souls.

The Realm of Souls is said to be the afterlife. Where all souls return to, to live out existence in peace. Dureur is its lord protector, its king, its emperor. Nothing enters nor leaves the Realm of Souls without Dureurs desire.

Necromancers have a special connection to the Realm of Souls, meaning that necromancers do not just possess the magic, Dureur allows it.

Dureur has once been seen on Valenaar, roaming the infamous Bavarinne Hill. Many people reported his sighting as he was inspecting the area. Walking among the thickest of the Mageburn pools. Seemingly uneffected by its properties. He spoke no words, he interacted with no one. He left shortly after leaving everyone in awe.

The Dark Shepherdis considered to be Dureur’s closest companion and is often seen roaming the lands of Valenaar.

Dureur comes in many depictions from bestial skeletons, humanoid, to monsterous. There is only one common theme among all cultures. Dureur is the Reaper adorned in his flowing robes, a hood to cover his head and an unsettling stare to make anyone fear his presence.
