The Petty Gods of Valenaar were all once mortals living on the continent. Their ascendency is obscure and their favor with Dureur remains unknown.
Much of their power comes from followers however. Meaning the more devout of their followers translates to their ability to provide the power given to them by Dureur.
This sometimes means that some Petty Gods will depict themselves in various ways to appeal to different cultures on Valenaar.
